Jas Communications is a leader in softphone and VoIP solutions, offering flexible tools for businesses to manage and optimize voice communications. As their clients became more data-driven, Jas saw an opportunity to extend beyond the limited reporting capabilities of the default 3CX interface.
Clients were increasingly requesting real-time access to call events to power custom workflows, such as triggering CRM updates, sending internal notifications, or launching post-call analyses. The existing infrastructure did not support this level of responsiveness or customization. Jas needed a solution that was secure, scalable, and easy to integrate into a wide range of client systems without requiring a complete overhaul of their backend.
Devpro designed and implemented a real-time, event-driven architecture using modern serverless technologies. The solution includes an integration based on webhooks that streams 3CX call events as they occur. Serverless TypeScript functions handle scalable, on-demand processing of these events. A PostgreSQL database stores and manages structured call event data, while secure endpoints expose this data in a controlled way to client applications. This architecture allows businesses to react instantly to call activity and to build intelligent, automated workflows on top of it.
The system provides instant access to real-time call data for downstream processing. It is built on a secure, serverless infrastructure that requires no ongoing maintenance. Clients can now implement new workflow possibilities, including live notifications, CRM synchronization, and advanced call analytics. The solution integrates easily into a wide variety of client systems and applications.
With this integration, Jas Communications has empowered its clients to unlock real-time insights and build intelligent workflows around their softphone activity. What was once static data locked behind a user interface is now dynamic, actionable information—enabling smarter and faster business decisions.
